What Customers Say

“Our lurcher girl, Jeff, has just spent a week with Catherine while we were on holiday. She came home looking just as happy as we did! Catherine sent us updates and photos while we were abroad which showed Jeff having the most amazing time. It was the first time we had left her with anyone other than family, but the care she received was incredible! Highly recommended!”
Mabel Blue,
I was so very concerned when I decided to go back to work and had to find a reliable dog walker for  our new cockapoo Teddy. All my worries were completely alleviated when Catherine came over to meet both myself and Teddy.  Teddy responded so well to Catherine, it is abundantly clear Catherine has a natural affinity with animals.
Andrea Knapton,
Catherine has been looking after Porter for 3 months now and is helping us all through those puppy needs.  I come home to a happy and well loved puppy who if he could speak would no doubt share all the fun and excitement he has enjoyed during the day with the other ladies and dogs in his life.  He is having a better social life than we do.  Thank you all for your continued help, support and love for Porter.
Karen Miller,
“Catherine has been boarding my two sausage dogs on a weekly basis since January 2015 when circumstances meant I needed to work away part of the week. She has been a complete godsend. She is conscientious and reliable and numerous times has gone above and beyond the call of duty…..”
Eimear Mc Allister,
“Catherine has been caring for our two border collies on a regular basis for over two years. We do not need her every day and Catherine has always been very accommodating should we need her help at very short notice. Given the age difference between our dogs and their very different temperaments, we are thrilled …..”
Dr Jane Brooks,
“Catherine and team are a godsend. I needed a dog walker who is experienced and confident with socialising my dog. My dog was a little nervous with other dogs but after Catherine’s help socialising her she an angel! I’m very happy leaving my dog with Catherine when in on holiday knowing that’s shell have the best care and the best bed of her choosing.”
Lizzi Hunt,
“Maisie has stayed at Diamond Dogs so many times that she seems to have become one of the family. As a lifetime dog owner I am so grateful to Catherine for providing such a loving secure home where Maisie can spend her holidays. Knowing she is safe and happy means we can enjoy our own time away so much more.”
Kim Wynn, Halifax
“Maisie wanted to rate Diamond Dogs herself!’ For accommodation, food, service, activities and overall experience I award Diamond Dogs 5 Golden Bones!! ‘
Maisie Wynn, Halifax
“She has gone far beyond simple dog-walking and over-nighting. Catherine has put careful thought into Ted’s training and socialisation. The effect has been dramatic. Ted is calmer, better-behaved and happier. And what’s more, I have had peace of mind knowing that Ted is well looked after, exercised and stimulated when I can’t be there. I genuinely think that I could not have kept Ted without Catherine’s assistance.”
Paul Smith,
“He is again treated like one of the family and this allows us piece of mind knowing he is not just in kennels and one of many. I admit Fudge is spoilt and that is how I see Cath’s business. Fudge has a great life because of Cath. She is flexible and very reliable. She provides amble notice if plans need to change and also picks up Fudge at short notice if our work commitments change at short notice and he needs to stay late and/or overnight. We couldn’t have a dog and certainly not such a happy one without Cath and her day care.”
Rachel Jones,
“I can honestly say my dogs love Catherine!! Catherine has been taking my dogs for walks for the last couple of years and they love it! Every time Marley (retriever) and Buddy (chocolate lab) have been out with Catherine they can’t stop woofing on about their adventure! They love exploring new woods, muddy puddles, boggy fields and wet rivers just so they can dirty Catherine’s van even more for her!”
Claire and Amy, The Lamppost cafe
“Ben is always very pleased to see Catherine and happily trots out to climb in her van whenever she turns up. We have left him with Catherine for longer periods whilst we have been away on holiday and can’t take him with us. Whilst we are away we get texts and sometimes even photos giving us pupdates on how he is doing. If you are thinking of starting to use Catherine as a walker for your dog then ask her for my details and I will happily answer any questions you might have.”
